Are you willing to DIE for your business? By Mike Fallat

My name is Mike Fallat and I have been an entrepreneur since 2008. It took me 10 years to figure out what my strengths were in the business game. I knew I had grit. I knew I had drive. I knew I had resourcefulness. I knew I had initiative. I knew I had the ability to talk to strangers. But, I didn't know how far I was willing to go. You think it's going to be 1-2 years before life balances out. And then you realize that the grind is not a sprint, it's a marathon. It takes many years.

If you look at the timeline of all entrepreneurs, you will see many start out as one. However, they usually fade away from the lifestyle as time goes by. By the 5-10 year mark, only a fraction are still playing the game. There are many reasons as to why this happens, but I believe the #1 is the WILLINGNESS to do whatever is necessary to stay alive, so stay afloat, and to keep moving forward. To me, a business does not simply reflect income. It signifies freedom, my dream, and my mission.

Last week, I proposed a question: Are you willing to die for your business?

The response was absolutely incredible. Many people said they would, many people said they would not.

My hypothesis is this: He or she who is WILLING to give more, do more, and risk more has the advantage.

Business is a game and if you hold back (when you are on the offense), you will lose out to the people who do not hold back. Look at every football game where there is a big lead. Usually, they sit back and play defense. When this happens, it gives the other team the chance to come back and win. Often, they do!

My question to you on this glorious monday is ARE YOU WILLING TO GO ALL THE WAY FOR YOUR BUSINESS?

Just because you are willing doesn't mean you are going to die. It just means that the reward is worth the wounds.

Before you answer, remember there are people like me out there who are. So, which one are you?

Let me know on here, my facebook, or instagram page. I would love to hear from you.
